Roadmap

Where Glass Double is headed

An honest, undated view of what’s shipped, what we’re building, and what we’re exploring. Priorities move with what crews actually need on set — tell us what would help.

Shipped

Live today, on web + native.

  • 67 fictional device kinds across 5 categories — phones (calls, texts, notifications, home, feed, maps, wallet…), plus screens & readers, signage & boards, kiosks & payment, and instruments & monitors (car dash, live-ECG vitals, CCTV, drone HUD…)
  • 17 swappable fictional-OS skins across phone, tablet and watch (Lumen, Aria, Terra, Onyx, Bloom, and more)
  • Generate a life — fill a whole device with a coherent fictional character in one click
  • Per-show shared cast — the same character keeps the same number on every device
  • On-set operator console + hands-free cue sheets
  • Per-shot E&O clearance log (PDF), a project clearance report, and an insurer attestation letter
  • Exports: transparent PNG, alpha WebM, ProRes 4444 (MOV, with alpha), and numbered alpha PNG sequences with embedded timecode — into Avid/Resolve/Premiere/After Effects
  • Cloud projects, real-time collaboration, version history, approvals, and public share links

Building

In progress now.

  • Native iOS + Android app store builds
  • Funnel analytics + a pilot-feedback loop
  • More skins, archetypes, and starter scene templates
  • Onboarding polish for first-run crews

Next

Planned, once the above lands.

  • iOS hardware-button trigger for hands-free cueing
  • SSO for Studio / Enterprise teams
  • Deeper AI life-generation (richer, more castable characters)
  • Shot / scene metadata deepening across a production

Exploring

Ideas we're weighing — tell us what matters.

  • An iPad playback console for the on-set operator
  • Playback interop with QTake / Video Village
  • A rental-house + brand-universe skin marketplace
  • A public API / SDK for pipeline integration
